Harriet Tubman was an American abolitionist and political activist who escaped slavery in the 19th century. She made 13 trips back to the South to rescue over 300 enslaved people, using the Underground Railroad.

In this unit study, we will learn about Harriet Tubman's life and accomplishments. We will explore her childhood, her escape from slavery, her work on the Underground Railroad, and her later life. We will also discuss her legacy and the impact she has had on American history.

Activities

This unit study includes activities for all ages, from preschoolers to high school students.

**Preschoolers**
